Know the basics of External Bookings: Payment and Refund Policy.
External bookings are reservations that are available to both non-members and members with expired memberships. The platform identifies an external booking based on the booking person's membership status, and these bookings require advance payment to secure the reservation.
Payment Method
If you are a member of a space and attempt to book a room from a different space, you will be prompted to provide a payment method (Please note that credit cards are the only accepted method of payment). This means that even if you have already entered a credit card in your current Spacecubed account, you will need to provide payment details when booking a room from a different Space.
Please be aware that the platform does not store any of your payment information. All payment details are handled by the payment system.
Please note that non-members will only be able to book meeting rooms that have been enabled to be booked publicly.
Notifications
Once your external booking has been successfully paid and scheduled, a confirmation email will be sent to you. This email will contain all the necessary details of your booking, along with additional information prepared by the Space admins to assist you in coordinating access to the room on the day of your reservation. The Space admins are promptly notified whenever one of these bookings is made, allowing them to make necessary preparations and provide assistance on the day of your reservation.
Cancelation of External Bookings
There is a cancellation and refund policy in place for all external bookings. In the event of a cancellation, we will issue a refund to the original credit card used for payment. The amount to be refunded will vary depending on the proximity of the cancellation to the start time of the booking.
- 24 hours or less: No refund.
- Up to 48 hours (2 days): 50%
- Up to 96 hours (4 days): 75%
- For cancellations made more than 96 hours before the start time of the booking, a full refund will be issued.
